Yah they're big into Call of Cthulhu, homebrews, and I think some kind of mystery RPG not translated or made anywhere except China. TCGs do okay and tabletop wargames are fairly non-existent, despite a lot of manufacturers in China.

Yeah they're elaborate narratives called {剧本杀|juben sha} (script killers) some complete with sets and costumes and everything. My friend invited me to one but my Mandarin isn't up to snuff :(
