There is quite a bit of debate in the carnivore space about the utility of Liver, or even it's necessity

This talk is interesting, but it wont get me to change my consumption of liver occasionally.

The philosophy of eating the animal in appropriate portions makes the most mechanistic sense to me... i.e. you have to eat a entire cow for every entire liver you eat

40:00 - Vitamin A is the cause of insulin resistance (first time I've ever heard this theory)

Vitamin A regulates protein synthesis - binds into DNA/RNA, the protein is defective, so if that goes into a glut4 receptor, its not properly formed. Thats the theory behind vitamin A driving insulin resistance on a carnivore diet.

Vitamin A toxicity also looks like low vitamin A... curious how to test for it then.

I know I don't have a strong desire for liver, is there in my freezer and I see it often but I don't want it.

Vitamin A overdose - I think that's a problem for the people who are eating a lot of liver, forcing themselves to eat it, hiding it in other foods

I think you're okay if you're only eating liver while you want it and it tastes good

Someone in the video comments talks about their liver intake: high when they first started and it tasted great, then after a while it tastes bad

I think we can continue trusting our taste while eating animal source foods

Eggs are another one, I saw your comment in the price of eggs post - you eat a lot while you're new onto carnivore and low on many nutrients, then it tails off and you move closer to just beef
