She’ll play the role of Amanda, a bubbly but fragile college freshman keeping a big secret.

She plays a role similar to this in Euphoria and she does an excellent job, so I expect she'll excel here as well.

Also, while it's not surprising for children to look like their parents, the photo in this article has her looking so much like her mother Leslie Mann.
