By a very slim margin, most people voted to make [email protected] the next destination for this community.

@[email protected] and @[email protected] will step in as moderators of the community.

Unlucky turn of events.

  • 5 months ago, https://lemmy.world/c/football moved to lemm.ee, which was the second largest instance at the time, so a quite reliable choice
  • Lemm.ee announced a few days ago that they would close at the end of the month

Most of the active crowd of the community seems fairly opposed to going back to lemmy.world, they also voted to leave it in the first place.
