At the top in the sidebar of the community you're modding there should be a "leave mod team" button.
use this power for good.
I mean, just close it?
It's really weird it took OP 9 months to notice, but I don't know how their instance displays it.
I logged in from a different browser and saw the message that I'd been made a mod. Admins helped me sort it.
I'll look into that
