India’s chief of defence staff says the country suffered initial losses in the air during a recent military conflict with neighbouring Pakistan, but declined to give details.

“What was important is, why did these losses occur, and what we will do after that,” General Anil Chauhan told the Reuters news agency on Saturday on the sidelines of the Shangri-La Dialogue security forum in Singapore.

Indian politicians spread propaganda. Thankfully the military folks still have honor to not lie and to admit when they make mistakes.

It is not just honour. In the long term, acknowledging and correcting failures is the right path. The politicians are just trying to save their skin after trying to exploit the situation for petty reasons. Why should any public servant with self-respect help them do this?

Pakistan army drove the country into the ground, but PAF has always had a ridiculous K/D ratio, of which a significant amount was confirmed by Chuck Yeager when he was the airforce dispatch to Pakistan.

Not to mention they're still not some pushover military either. People talk about DMZ all the time, but the LoC is arguably way more militarized and way more intense in cross-border fire.

"6-nil", rip Rafale lol
