They do sadly. The media has repeated Israeli lies again and again even when provided with no proof of their claims. The whole baby beheading thing got spread so much that Joe Biden ended up calling it out and later clarified that they don't have proof as well.

And Reddit has been banning pro Palestine subs and users from yesterday.

Palestine doesn't have elections thanks to Hamas.
Living in a concentration camp for decades fucks with people and their moral compass.

Palestinians don't necessarily support Hamas but support the greater cause of Palestinian sovereignty and human rights. Maybe they want to live like Human Beings instead of being treated like subhumans.

And to add to it, Israel regularly does unimaginable vile things to Palestinians. It will only make Palestinians resent Israel more and more.

Considering the violent nature of Israel, they'll just double down on full scale genocide because the US will back them even if they start death factories and start gassing Palestinians. They suffer zero blowback except for when Palestinians fight back.

Fighting against Settlers is based but I could cut some slack to people who were born in occupied Palestine and have lived there for their entire lives. But then again, these new generation Settlers have been conditioned to normalise apartheid and genocide in the occupied territory so they can go fuck themselves.
