Are we only allowed happy answers in these posts?

On May 22nd I bought an app to help me study. So far it's working. Been more motivated to do more since.
Also a spell of desire stems from my GF and friends being encouraging moreso than usual. Which is nice since I've been burnt out for the past few months.

Hoping to maintain a stable week of committing myself to all the tasks I laid out for myself. It'll be neigh impossible, but I'm looking forward to at least attempting a full week of full commitment. Still haven't peaked since lockdown when I was able to do absolute boatloads of work everyday, but getting there.

I had an awesome weekend in Berlin, but now my long Covid has caught up with me and I'm staring at the ceiling with nerve pain everywhere.

Well I just found out the other day that the local food bank delivers to people without transportation. Since we only have the one car we can't afford and she's at work during their limited operating hours, I'm currently waiting for that. I'm disabled and that SSDI check don't stretch so far anymore thanks to the Orange Jackass.

Bad! Bad bad. Stupid decaying meat husk is withering on me. Still trying to figure that out because medical moves at the pace of a glacier, but like when glaciers were still frozen and not melted. The cat fell into the bathtub with me in it, I'm bruising a lot from the medical stuff, and I'm just exhausted.

It's a Christian holiday today and it's wet so I've been hooked on online shopping discount sprees. It started with 60% discount on ground coffee. Then a new Stanley coffeemug, coffeefilter, food jar, a waterproof powerbank with charger and flashlight, thermal pants, a rain poncho, a pocket multitool, waterproof bags, a fishing tent, water filters, and extra socks.

And busy working out from home with a 15kg dumbbell like every so often, the only thing I miss from the gym is the rowing and stair walking machine everything else will be outdoor activity.

It's Ascension Day! Here it's also Father's Day. There are "Hocks" (get together) everywhere that aim to get men very drunk.

My gym trainer pushed me to do deadlift and then increased the weight. My back has never been sorer (for good reason).

Sore but still functional?

Thankfully.

I am so excited for the weekend! My kid is visiting family and it's my first break from her in over two years. Going to visit my partner in crime tomorrow night and my best friend Saturday.

I had pork yesterday, I don't usually eat pork, but it was a group lunch and we did table grilled pork. I felt bloated for the rest of the day. Not sure why, I don't usually have this kind of reaction to other meats. Maybe there is some sort of seasoning I'm reacting to as well.

Allergy? You can be allergic to pork.

it's not impossible, but I've tolerated it well before.

But yes, something i ate at the grill didn't sit well with me. I'll have to try again but with a clean sample to see.
