Only congress can legally create permanent tariffs. And the readers of [email protected] were informed of this a month ago (at least). But the consumers of mass media only learned about this today.

It's good to see this problem of Trump's illegal tariffs finally fixed. But what I want to know now is, if an ordinary person like myself knew that Trump's tariff taxes were all highly illegal, how come the media elites and opposition party have been failing America all these months by acting like Trump's authoritarian power grabs was a totally okay and normal thing to do, when it was completely obvious from the start Trump was claiming power he didn't have?
