Travel will be free for passengers on all train and Metro services on the Opal network on Monday 26 May.

What do you know... more train disruptions! From the Opal app: Delays on the T1 and T9 train services as a result of an incident requiring emergency services at Artarmon. Consider catching Metro or buses.
Delays cascading on other lines but hopefully they stay minor.
Weird how we got the same app and slightly different messages:

Mine was a "stale" message, lazily copied from a Signal chat. Apologies. I think it was Pete Hegseth who said it.
On TripView I can see all trains on T2 (far from T1 & T9) are running up to 40 minutes late or are cancelled.
In practice it doesn't matter much because they are still coming frequently, just out of timetable order.
