Slightly experimental one here! There are two things I don't love about it, but want to hear your thoughts on it! Much bigger anagram today!!

Instructions (best on desktop):

  1. Solve the grid using the clues provided. The direction of the word is indicated by the number around the grid (so some words are backwards).

  2. After you complete the grid, click the pencil icon tab at the bottom to switch over to solve the anagram. The title is a hint to the anagram!

hard one's a hard one. What's 5.1.441 ?

The spoiler tag markdown on the app I use doesn't seem to work for all apps, so apologies for typing this outright, but the 5.1.441 is the spot in the answer where the referenced character in the title speaks their final line - so they "stop there"!

This is what the spoiler code looks like on my app if you want to try it and see if it works.

I don't know my exact time, because I accidentally closed the page after I solved the crossword but before I solved the anagram, so had to redo it... But somewhere between 2:48 and 10:52 lol.

I did end up using Google because I didn't know what 2 across could possibly be..

butthen it ended up being a pretty simple acronym
And I probably didn't need to use Google after all.

The anagram had me puzzled at first, but I saw a good hint in the puzzle title and was able to fill it in quickly after that!

Edit because I posted before I was done typing oops.

2 across is exactly what I didn't love, but was hoping that after enough letters had been solved, it might be possible to see what was going on there! I always try to ensure there is a maximum of 1 of those in any given puzzle, but the ideal number is 0 until there is the ability to opt in to those sorts of niches. However, those larger grids are significantly harder to solve on my end, and so was curious how allowing one "technically a thing" word in would be received!

No chance. Don't wanna use Google.

Which part was the tricky one, the grid or the anagram?
