Vershinin has had consistently good analysis throughout the war I find. A few of his other articles are a great read as well. If people listened to this sort of sober analysis from the start, so many lives could've been saved and a needless war could've been avoided.

Don’t worry, once Canada enacts its firearm confiscation Ukraine will have a plethora of used .22 Lr rifles in the finest hot-pink camo and magazines pinned to 10-15 rounds.
This is an unfortunate outcome, but to be expected by now.
We haven't been hearing anything about Ukraine from the Western propaganda mill; that means there's nothing good to report on because that's how propaganda works.
