It really demonstrates how all these lib and 'left' politicians and pundits really aren't worth a damn that they can't manage this shit.

The old man is wearing a Bernie hat. You can see it in the thumbnail. He tells the press that he's against violence and he wants more people to vote. I like that he blames Israel for the DC shooting but it seems like he is an institution defender.

He also carries around a bunch of protest signs. He shows one of the signs to the video. The sign reads "Ceasefire Now! No More Deaths". Then he tells the press that he has many similar signs hanging outside his house. He must have put those signs up in preparation for speaking to the press.

He knew that the press was coming to his house and he decided to make a bunch of protest signs and to put on a Bernie hat. He's definitely a certain type of guy. He's probably a Bernie guy, based on the hat.

Also want to point out that the FBI was raiding the house of the suspected shooter at the same as this interview was conducted. I would suspect that this press didn't just "roll up on his doorstep". I think that the press was probably getting footage of the FBI doing the raid and then the old man, named John Wayne Fry, probably volunteered to speak to the press.

His beard is perfectly groomed. It's an impressive beard. It looks like he cut it right before the interview.

I've been hearing these last couple of days that there appears to be a shift in how the mainstream media is covering this. I just saw that the BBC apparently grilled the Israeli ambassador in London about all the deaths. Perhaps the media is finally trying to manufacture consent for something good for once? Anyway, I think multitudes of kids dying from starvation may finally be the last straw that breaks the camel's back. Blowing them up to smithereens may have had some excuse like, "oh, we meant to blow up the bad guys and they were at the wrong place at the wrong time," but starvation is so deliberate that it will be much harder to make up any kind of excuse.

Edit: on re-reading this, I realized that I should have made the point that instead of manufacturing consent it would be accepting consent, since I believe that the majority of the public has already felt this way for a long time now, so no need to manufacture anything except for the hardliners.

I think he was referring to a question asked earlier in the interview. The longer interview on Fox News is around 6 minutes, the twitter clip has 2 and a half minutes.

He says at the start of the video that he hadn't talked to the suspected shooter about Palestine or Israel before, and that he "would have talked him out of it", referring to the Embassy shooting. He also tells the press that voting is more powerful than guns and bombs.

I don't think this guy is very radical but what he said is somewhat different from the rest of the media narrative right now. He at least doesn't say Zionist lines like "Israel has the right to defend itself" or "Bring home the hostages" or whatever.

Most importantly is that he redirects the media narrative to Israel's genocidal action during the interview. His interview places blame on Israel and calls on people to stop Israel.
