I think this will coincide with the military parade in June.

Doing something like this would probably trigger riots, which would be the excuse to declare martial law and solidify the authoritarian coup.

I’m pretty sure this is the endgame move.

Chauvin had federal and state charges.

He would still have to serve his state sentence. Although, the rule of law doesn’t seem to matter anymore, so who knows.

Governor Walz has already had Chauvin moved to a state prison in order to stop Trump from freeing him after a pardon.

I guess - what happens if he just does it anyway? That’s kinda what’s been happening this whole presidency. (“Hey no you can’t deport US citizens” “too late lol”)

Even if it was a purely symbolic move - just dismissing the federal charges would be a spark in a bariatric chamber.
