Exercises completed after spending time today setting up a new non Gmail account and securing my financials, changing my contact details here and there. I've probably overreacted but I'd rather err on that side than not doing enough, and it's my first time with a breach or hack of any kind. It was eye-opening for me how many businesses and organisations I'm involved with. One email breach shakes head and no, it's not the pizza hut one! Also talked to the Minipeelers about it, what happened and what I had to do about it. Now I've got to think about dinner but I don't feel like cooking ๐
Botbot and @RustyRaven any chance of pinning today's DT? It's flapping around in the wind and I'm afraid it might tumble down the wrong way with a particularly strong gust.
Oh dear, I thought I had done that already. I must have been distracted somewhere after unpinning yesterday's. Can I blame it on the cat?
You can always blame it on the cat... unless you want to blame it on the boogie ๐บ

...Have any of you gotten an employment lawyer to run through a contract before signing? I've finally got my short term one for this project I'm meant to do, but it's both incredibly vague about my responsibilities as well as incredibly broad about IP created in my own time (anything that "relates" to the business?? what does that mean exactly?)
I'm wondering whether it's worth it since they are a small business that probably won't have the resources to really lawyer up and fight (and would ruin their reputation in the process if they really did). But they have been really hard to trust lately. It just doesn't sit right with me.
IP created in my own time

Trust your gut feel. This doesn't sound right at all. For a short term contract, you need to know that they have thought out exactly what they expect from you in the time available. And it doesn't seem that this has happened.
2 more days for new phone! Woop
My phone's estimated delivery timeframe: over 2 weeks. My phone's actual arrival time: 2 days.
It looks pretty good, just going through setup now. Once upon a time mobile phones were giant bricks and we would marvel when each successively smaller model came out. Then we started adding in lots of new functions and they are getting bigger and bigger again.
They got bigger when men realised they could watch ๐ฝ on them!
I thought it was the dumb memes and kitten pictures. Watching ๐ฝ seems like something that would be better on a device that is not hand held ๐คฃ
The carrots got a bit dry on the warm windy day yesterday so Iโve watered them again and pulled them inside overnight to avoid snails/slugs.
Melbcat is very happy to have her favourite bed back. She got it back same wash day and has been glued to it since
Holy shit, old mate next door is making more noise than the tradies the other side demolishing the house (though they seem to have knocked off once it clouded over).
Fortunately it started after I got all the leaf and blossom debris in the green bin.
Just found out my email address has been stolen in a data breach from Freecycle ๐คฆ๐ผโโ๏ธ๐ณ๐ณ๐ณ
