I'm a longtime vegan tankie, but nothing makes people unfriend me faster than saying "people should mask because COVID is still dangerous" (hexbear.net)

Seriously I've lost count of the number of people I've lost, it's at least 20 since the pandemic started. It's not like people forward me articles like "oh here's why COVID is fine now".

It's an iron law to me know, I've seen it so much in my life. Libs CANNOT stomach the idea that they're in the wrong about something. It'll eat them up inside worse than anything.

Anyway, please do not forget: prior to covid, many places were straight up banning the wearing of masks in public places, especially during protest-type situations. Usually I wear a mask in public because I don't want blood on my hands of infecting someone else. But when that's not enough to motivate me, I fall back on doing it because wearing a mask is something that needs to be done for various reasons and it only helps us to normalize it so that it can't be taken away.

OP is the one saying "[P]eople should mask because COVID is still dangerous" and people quickly unfriend him for it. I found the title confusing first, but he is clearly very pro-mask, which his posts and comments confirm.
