It's not AI and it's not fake. (Well it's a fake tree, but the image is real.) It's a regular cell phone tower intentionally decorated like a tree to make it "blend in" because some cities require that. TIL That these aren't as common as I thought lol Here in my state we have both pine/redwood (like this) and palm tree types.
There's one nearby where I used to live that was disguised like this but for a different reason. They bought the rights to build the tower from a church only under the condition that it was disguised like this.

Yes... Overgrowing. Totally not camoflauge because locals are like we want better mobile coverage but we don't want to see the mobile tower.

Maybe it's the focus, but it looks AI-generated to me (not saying it is, just looks like it to me).
But yeah, even if it is, it's still a common practice to disguise cell towers like that.

We have these exact towers in the city in which I grew up. This is not AI generated. It is supposed to blend in more with the scenery except that trees there top out at half the height of the towers in nearly all cases.
This is what happens when the libs start banning round up!
