Please don't buy products that are designed to be thrown in the trash. It's bad for the environment.

In a twist of irony, I don't think people buying Swasticars care about the environment. They probably say they do, with the electric car and all, but it's just a convenient excuse.

I'll entirely believe them if they have previous Tesla models, but anybody buying that "truck" would have to be pretty naive not to see what's going on.

Also, your sentence could apply to a lot of other car makes right now.

Hell yeah, both because fuck the cybertruck AND because i want the electric motors to make actual fun electric stuff. Like go carts with more torque than they have any right to have or something idk.

The Toyota land cruiser looks at that and calls that a dent.

The land cruiser doesn't have an aluminium frame.

On the plus side, they should be quite easy to salvage for parts considering the paneling peels off with very little effort.

Except everything is software based. Find a new sensor to replace, great, but it wont work unless you can program the software to accept the serial number of that sensor...(spoiler, you can't)

Want to replace your own parts, too bad! They are going to hold people hostage at their service centres because that's what makes money.

I was just being cheeky. I'm never going to be in a situation where I need parts for one of these garbage vehicles, and anyone who does has no sympathy from me.

nice, I hope they have easily repurposable batteries.

Depends if you like eating smores that are vigorously poisonous

Beyond campfire snacks, absolutely the batteries are easily repurposed. There's several ventures trying to get to scale reusing EV batteries for residential renewables power storage for instance.
Could potentially use the battery from a Cybercuck's carcass to convert an ICE vehicle to EV, if you trust them.

That really is the main issue though. How much do you trust Tesla to not have made a bomb?

They’ll pass on what’s inside, but the raccoon consortium wants the bodies. Cheap dumpsters are always a good buy.

Wonder how much it would go for, the flood truck especially. It would make a good community event.
