(or thumbs down: we don't hide those, on PeerTube)

Oooh the shade!

Not on F-Droid yet, apparently :c

It is. But incorrectly marked as having an anti feature for being entirely dependent on a central server. That specific anti feature is filtered by default in the F-Droid settings. I created an issue to have the anti feature label removed.

Edit: I just noticed the F-Droid version is still 0.6.0, you might have been talking about that😅

F-Droid always compiles everything themselves, and runs a bunch of tests on it before releasing anything. It's usually a few extra days for most apps.

Yea; hopefully soon! Been waiting!! :)

^^You can download the android APK, on the website (up to date).

The app is already on F-Droid.

If you want to stay up to date, use Obtainium with this link.

Edit: Changed source link.

"Could not find a suitable release"

but I see the apk there on the page when I open it in a browser. maybe youve added some extra apk link detection, or your setup is different from mine. can you confirm the shared link works for you as-is when added again to obtanium? Im using v1.1.52

ed: FYI there is an app config listed for peertube in obtanium's "crowdsourced configurations" link that works for me, even if the version string is a bit wonky (but that frustratingly happens often with obtanium). it downloads the same v1.0.1 apk

I've changed the link and it seems to be working now.

Is it just me or are the platforms to login to limited?

[-] [email protected] 7 points 1 month ago

It’s not just you. It’s a limitation by enforced by Apple.

[-] [email protected] 5 points 1 month ago

I don't get that. Other Apps (like lemmy or mastodon clients) are also allowed to choose their instances to logon to freely.
