Remember in the 2015 election campaign when Justin Trudeau promised us if he was elected, 2015 would be the last election that would use the First Past the Post System? What happened? The Liberals realized they only got a majority because of the system they said they would replace.

To ensure your vote really counts, and we have a parliament populated by statespersons representing the will of the voters, we need ProRep. No more majority governments representing 37 per cent of the voters, no more party whips demanding party loyalty, no more MPs acting like poorly behaved children. We do not need a strong majority to govern Canada, we need parliament made up of diplomatic members working toward consensus for the common good of all citizens.

Ask your candidates their view and their party’s platform on proportional representation.
