Quick summary here;

Lots of people, mostly under 25 from the looks of them, threw buckets of popcorn all over when the Chicken Jockey appeared. The movie was paused by the theater and identified offenders where escorted out.

Honestly people, just control yourselves. This is a kids movie, for crying out loud. It really screams "look at me, I'm a rebel and cool!" in only the most desperate way. I'm glad none of this happened at my local theater, we all just got to enjoy the film and share a laugh or two.

My guess: they were doing it for tiktok/reels/yt views

These fame obsessed twats are a disease. Killing common decency for clout is bull shit.

Also, ya'll, movie theaters have security cameras in the theater. Usually they choose to be discrete about things that might be going on, but maybe make certain choices with this kept in mind...

As Lauren Boebert found out.

So it's a good thing we didn't fuck during that screening of The Incredibles?

No, the security specialist was very disappointed

Is that the story we are sticking to?

The real reason is that the movie was so good I didn't want to miss anything

That's why I set up a tent around the seat for me and whoever I go with. If anyone questions the noises I just yell " squatters rights!" and start kicking.

Ah so teenagers doing teenager things. Also why I don't go to movies anymore. This is an extreme case but people really just act like no one is around them anymore.

I never particularly liked movie theatres. But it's gotten so much worse. People just talking over the movie, being on their phones, taking selfies, leaving all their garbage behind. I don't understand people who say that they like the movies for the "atmosphere" when i see these videos of disney fans flipping out whenever a super hero does the thing that make idiots cheer, i just don't see it. I don't miss it a bit.

I finally have a semi decent setup at home where it's quiet, I can fully envelope myself in the movie, and I have better snacks. I don't know why I would want to go out to an AMC or some other cheap theater to have a worse experience.

Now, there is a local theater who focuses on actual films I go to, like I saw the Brutalist there, but they actually enforce the rules, and they aren't going to show the new spiderman. So it's actually a pleasant experience

Only if it involved getting picked up by an embarrassed parent.
