There is Project Lyra to catch up to it. Other than that there's many hypotheses on what it was and most importantly, why it seemed to speed up some as it left.

Do you know if it's true that it has returned again?
That one was going too fast, it was going faster than the escape volicity of the solar system, that's how they knew it was an interstellar object.
It's possible that they observed a second one.

Why would there be? Its well established that it was a rock.
Oh I've just stumbled across a post which says it has returned in 2024 which is weird that I haven't find any further studies on it though

So far away it can’t be seen anymore. There are many rumors surrounding it, but it probably was a round object.
