I have a lib friend who literally says this. To paraphrase them, hospitals or bombs, it's all imperialism. I laughed in their face when they first said that to me, and to be fair they did conceded that it sounded stupid

They once did a sit in protest when they was a student (protesting the mandatory student fees that the Tories introduced) many years ago and therefore considers themself to be very radical.
