Update to a previous post made by someone else about 8 hrs ago, but Sen. Booker of NJ is STILL holding the floor in the Senate as of 0545 EST as a form of protest against the MEDICARE/MEDICAID cuts, as well as the administration at large. He's a very brave man; David standing up to Goliath.

The rest of the Democratic Party should back him and follow in his footsteps -- protest and resistance is exactly what we need from our political leaders and representatives right now.

The Democrats can ill afford another period of spinelessness.

Protest mostly. Nothing can be done until he gives up the podium (no votes or discussions of other topics).
