A few years back, before the AI hype, I was so supportive of smaller channels and even found some genuine gems through random recommendations. But not anymore :(
Now its always the same trashy AI anime girls, combined with the most atrocious, generic crap you could imagine. Old nightcore was so epic.
Obligatory remark: YT is a shit company
I even found a channel with hours of AI generated DnB music. It sounded really bad, and didn't have any of the usual breakbeats, just some AI generated garbage. Did not use AI generated thumbnails or stuff like that, and also had some random DAWs listed in the description to "prove" it was "real" and not AI generated.
I'm not in a place I can listen, but check out maid core. When I get a moment, I'll look up this.
One of the good reasons to go to the office was to be able to gift the knowledge of nightcore to others. I got a colleague addicted to it for coding, he still blames me for that.
