I doubt even that will fix us, though. We are past some kind of disinformation event horizon, where most of us will never see much reality outside their local life, including leaders who are drinking the kool-aid. Even Idiocracy is kinda idyllic because at least Kamancho was relatively open minded.

See, that’s the thing that gets me. Our countries have had a great trade relationship for a long while now and some giant Cheeto needs to go and piss on everyone’s shoes.

Everybody here in the US keeps telling me that I'm wrong when I say this stuff will destroy our economy.
I sincerely hope the rest of the world proves them wrong.
I mean look at the stock market, customer sentiment, etc. Everything is pointing down and we haven't started to see the unemployment that's going to be brought on from all the government layoffs and attempts to rescind grants/contracts.
I think the next jobs report is going to be painful and we won't see anything positive economically for a while after that.
I expect the Trump government will prioritize cuts that make it difficult to get accurate data about the effects of the cuts.

Yup, been avoiding american products as much as I can at the grocery store. Fruits and veggies that can't be grown in Canada I will get from Mexico or anywhere else in the world except the US.
And not just about the attacks and threats. With the current US administration gutting regulations, there will be more risks of getting sick from eating contaminated food products.
I don't live too far from the Canadian border. I'm sensing an opportunity to make bank on black market tools and office supplies.
I smuggled 4 import vehicles in my butt when I crossed the Mexican border yesterday. They’ll never take me alive.
Next they should take back the Nordiques
