Most of us don't really have a choice. Company decided to Asuzre, so Azure we shall begrudgingly interact with... "please explain why you were on away for 12.7 minutes during your shift yesterday" GROAN.

I had a boss micro-managing me with Lync, the parent to skype4biz, the skype-in-name-only parent to teams.

The short story is, it's cathartic to drop your badge at the front desk and walk out. Line up the new job and then go see the look on his face.

That depends on how you use it.

Pretty much all functions can be replaced by a combination of ActivityPub services and NextCloud.

Or you could use Slack.

matrix and xmpp make more sense cause they're meant for messaging and I'd imagine be better able to do video calls
