Reading in the sun before getting ready for work might’ve been a bad idea, I'm a few pages in and already sleepy.
spinach quiche and a fresh salad for dins tonight
So I see broccoli on the Woolworths website at 96cents each.
What are the chances of it being that price in store?
Hmm do I go out during my lunch break to get stuff done or do it after work?
Go get some sunshineeee it's lovely
Fabulous gardeniing weather. I have so much to do out there it's hard to know what to do first. I'll have to go with the potter around and do whatever catches my attention approach, trying to plan what I "should" do will just lead to overwhelm and decision paralysis. 🌞🌻👨🌾

Does anyone have recommendations for couriers they use to buy second hand goods from interstate?
I’m looking to buy a device from Gumtree/Marketplace that can weigh up to 20kg and in a (relatively) decent sized box ~(70cmx40cmx40cm)
Looking for services (not necessary) they offer like:
- either picking up from the person's house or they deliver it to a location
- they can pack it for you
- method of payment to the seller otherwise I'd have to trust the other party to ship it off
I tried looking into backloading but it seems like too much trouble for minimal savings. Looked at courier sites and wasn’t sure if I was doing it correctly but it was estimating ~$80 which is actually not too bad. Would much rather go off of recommendations.
Was recommended Couriers Please but it depends on the franchise
Couriers Please has a horrible reputation.
I remember that I would never use them or buy from some online stores if they used them as they are really bad.
I'm sorry I can't offer anything else other than that.
I've used Pack & Send, they were good but bloody expensive. Don't expect a lot of change from $200.
It's a nice and buggy day today. We haven't had one of those for a while.
Saw a dragonfly in the suburbs for the first time in years.
Although I have a gripe about the 903 bus, which came and left 5 minutes before it was supposed to arrive at the stop. Would it kill the company to have them match up with the time schedule?

Based on years of being subject to the whims and fancies of Melbourne's public autobuses I have arrived at the belief that yes, indeed, there are basements of employees, quivering in the bowels of Collins Street as we speak, held hostage to a cold, metallic, fridge-sized switch at the PTV headquarters labeled "WARNING: Switching this on will initiate the running of a metropolitan public transport network befitting of the 21st century in which private contractors are genuinely held accountable to meaningful standards".
QAnon has nothing on this shit.

Pinpricks of pale light, holes in the nightsky,
Burning hot and bright, take wing and fly,
Between rotating quasars, shooting high-energy lasers,
Through nebula birthing, stars with planets orbiting.
The Universe is yours to witness and behold,
What lies beyond are mysteries untold, fold
Yourself down infinitesimally small,
And you'll see atoms that make us all.
Open your eyes wide, let in the pale light,
Pinpricks in the nightsky, burning bright.
