Hey, poor people could probably invest mere pennies in bird flu infected and/or plain rotten eggs to egg the rich...
Every crisis is an opportunity.
The new Beavis and Butthead had a segment where they borrowed eggs and tp from a rich family to throw at their house.
Egg prices are only spiking in one country. The rest of us have stable egg prices.
...and given the cost of housing, only rich kids get egged.
And the really rich kids get to use ostrich eggs.
Organic free range obviously
Can't make an omelette without breaking the bank.
Also they probably still have lots of toilet paper left over from the covid days. (Is that still a thing on the US? I only know of it from movies)
Hoarding toilet paper, hand sanitizer etc was a brief phenomenon in the US.
I meant using toilet paper on houses. Sorry, it was poorly worded.

A "Showerthought" is a simple term used to describe the thoughts that pop into your head while you're doing everyday things like taking a shower, driving, or just daydreaming. The most popular seem to be lighthearted clever little truths, hidden in daily life.

Whats it like to be a mod? Reports just show up as messages in your Lemmy inbox, and if a different mod has already addressed the report, the message goes away and you never worry about it.
