Here's a proper image you can use instead of a washed out and skewed photo of a screen

Harsh. Colbert might be getting older, but washed out?

To be fair, they do send out a massive number of emails begging for money to fund their losing strategy in the next election.

The Democrats are fundraising for their next election while the Republicans are cancelling Democracy. It's so head-in-sand frustrating to watch.

It makes more sense when you realize that the Democrats primary goal is fundraising, while winning elections is an ancillary benefit. As long as there's a pretense of free and fair elections, they can function in basically the same manner they have been for the last 30 years.

This is an interesting take and also fucking depressing.

Name another party that loses more spectacularly. Gotta build it up so they can burn it down to the ground.

The Dems have 100000 × more money and lose more than 100000 × harder

[–] [email protected] 2 points 3 days ago

Dems have 10000xmore governors, state and federal senators, state and federal representatives, and various other elected postitions. Or infinitely more really, since greens have jack shit.

Politically, I'd be there if not for Jill Stein.

[–] [email protected] 7 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Yeah weird how she isn't in the news anymore like she is an obvious plant to split the left leaning vote.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 days ago (2 children)

the news is owned by powerful interests who do not benefit from telling you about her at the moment.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 days ago

She's probably on another dinner date with Vlad Putin.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Be honest what has she done to advance the green party? Not much, just wheel out her old corpse during elections.

the green new deal, which kamala signed onto. that is the reason i voted for kamala, and you should thank jill stein. if not for that, i mighta voted jill again.

Came across this post for the second time now. Didn't get it at first but then read in the newspaper that Democrats apparently decided to fight Trump by showing these signs and... wearing pink? That's just pathetic.

I forgot who, but someone said it had the same energy as all the rich people singing "Imagine" during the pandemic. Pretty spot on.

The mildest symbolic gestures, usually accompanied by emails begging donations, while Republicans sledgehammer America.

At what point does AOC go full Princess Leia and pick up a blaster.

[–] [email protected] 9 points 2 days ago

Democrats have those Super PAC donors to worry about. Corporations didn't just buy MAGA. Why buy just one political party when you can buy two for twice the price.

[–] [email protected] 6 points 3 days ago

It was a bit of a sad display
