Doing my part :) used to be a pathological lurker and Lemmy made me regular commenter and poster :)

I comment! Sometimes!

And then there was last night where someone called me "brain fucked" for (allegedly) not understanding what conservatism is. Ah, internet discourse.

I have nothing to contribute.

Niche communities are still absent, so most of the time Lemmy is just political discussions and Linux memes.

Not interested in any of those

the hell am i supposed to do here, there's like- barely any posts in my subscribed tab, and the things i do reply on don't get interactions at all LMAO

Lurky is the adjective form of lurking, i like saying lurky it tickels my mouth wires. So ill continue being lurky.

Lemmy is so much better for actual commenting and discussion. It’s like our threads range from a small room full of people to an auditorium full, while that other place most of us left was like a professional sports stadium full of people who all have a bullhorn and one rich weasel with camera who gets to decide who is on the Jumbotron.

How do people think of stuff to post?

I’m so much better at commenting than posting. I have nothing interesting to post!

all of the communities i follow are deathly silent, kinda hard to contribute when you have nothing worthwhile to post and nothing you can comment on
