I always said Christians don't hate sharia law because it's abhorrent. They hate it because it's not Christian based.
Next it'll be illegal for a woman to show her ankles or some shit like that.
No joke, I started listing some things off as a proposed law to my in-laws one day, and both my wife's parents and her sister's husband thought it sounded like good ideas.
Right up until I informed them "congratulations, you support sharia law on the united states! You can't argue that you don't, because you were just praising it for how it represents good Christian values."
It's 100% because it wasn't invented by Christians. Or rather I guess, Christians mostly dropped its equivalents over the last few centuries.
