To be fair, the winter meetings usually have a lot of big news and there were some huge offseason signings recently

As well as it not being baseball season, communities are more like hashtags for instances when small enough. If you make a post, people will see it.
I must be missing all of the major league baseball going on right now
After the World Series, there's not much to talk about until Spring Training which is, you know, Spring.
I mean, I could be posting about the Dominican Baseball League (LIDOM) which I follow, but that's not MLB and probably not allowed in this community. I don't shut up about LIDOM on Mastodon, some MLB players are participating too, as always.
