    Because their eyes are fixed in an absolute plane to the viewers perception. So to us it looks like they swapped seats, but that's just because we don't understand how their eyes work.

    ...this is why their eyes are jutting off their heads like that. It would make more sense if you had eyes like theirs, then you would understand this as a quirk of their universe.

    You have to use a regulator for controlling both temp and pressure, that will get rid of the residual splash stuff
