I had a friend give birth recently. She was healthy, has money, and the best medical care you are going to get. She still almost died.

It's fucking brutal.

Even as a sane, normal, pro-choice person, it was reorienting.

I don't understand what kind of witchcraft goes on in there but that doesn't stop me from thinking they should be able to throw some holy water or what the fuck ever up there
