As the cost of living rises and online resale gains popularity, the thrift store is struggling to maintain its product assortment at a critical time.

Considering the anti-LGBTQ+ and pro-conversion 'therapy' stance this organization has, they will not be missed if they disappear. There are less discriminatory organizations that people can support.

Meanwhile something like 30% of all online orders (and way more in the case of clothes) get returned, and a majority of that then goes straight to landfill/incinerator.

An incinerator is a better destination for Amazon returns than the Salvation Army. Some thrift store should buy Amazon return crates and sell the stuff but the Salvation Army can go fuck themselves.
