"Let's remember, he is 78 years old. With so much attention on [President Joe] Biden's age when he was still in the race, it was overlooked that Trump is just a couple years younger and just as prone, maybe more so, to these verbal slips and confusion."

What a load of bullshit. Biden had some slip-ups. But he was never full on delusional the way Trump is.

"couple of years younger" or older than Biden was in 2020 when Republicans called him too old...

[–] [email protected] 5 points 2 months ago

"It's harder to pick it up from Trump sometimes because he's so loud and has been doing this for years, so we may be numb to it," he added. "There is a new focus here about his mental capability and fitness for office — certainly one that Democrats are pointing to. These mistakes, the mix-ups are seemingly only increasing by the day."

We are almost numb…? Well, I'm not. But I don't watch tv news and rarely see this asshole speak. I just read about it.

Orange man is fucked in the head.

[–] [email protected] 27 points 2 months ago

Always has been.

[–] [email protected] 23 points 2 months ago (2 children)

They're not new questions...

[–] [email protected] 14 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Or fresh, they are old and smelly like him

[–] bradinutah 5 points 2 months ago

Wait until they realize he's committed a felony! Would you hire an unsentenced felon to work for you? Would you want them to be mayor or on your city council? Of course not! So who's the crazy person who's hiring a felon to be POTUS? An old weirdo who's clearly a malignant narcissist too?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 months ago

Even during the debate with Biden, as folks were worried about Biden being too old, these same worries were being asked regarding the other guy.

Hard to say how much is dementia and how much is pure narcissism. He's always doctored past events in his memory to fit whatever narrative he wants to spew at the moment.

When nearly everything you say is a lie, it gets difficult remember the web of nonsense you've woven...not to mention making sure it makes logical sense. I think pre presidency he was actually pretty good at it because nothing really mattered and no one was checking his bullshit. Different story today...not that his followers care if he's lying to their face.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 months ago (1 children)

That's the thing, it sometimes isn't a lie because he genuinely believes it when he's saying it. It's just not true.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 months ago (1 children)

That's a confabulation. Also a hallmark of dementia.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 months ago

But also narcissism. Most likely one is just making the other worse than usual.

[–] [email protected] 17 points 2 months ago (2 children)

Questions about his mental health? Are you fucking joking? The lengths these people will go to so they don't have to flat out call him a liar is absurd...

Oh maybe he really believes it and he's just mentally unwell. Feel bad for poor poor aging Trump. Nooo it couldn't be that he's lying out of his fucking teeth to manipulate the population! Nooo he doesn't hold the amount of sway he currently does because of propaganda and a history of lying about absolutely everything. Nooo it's just poor poor aging Trump.... For fucks sake.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 2 months ago

For real. Every single time I see an article about anything this jackass says, all I can think it "why are we reporting on the words of a liar?" Why are still playing this dumb game as if we can't read between the lines? Why are we still playing respectability politics as if any of this has been normal behavior of polite society? Can we please just start calling this shit what it is? Why isn't this headline just "Lying Man Lies Again"?

[–] [email protected] 5 points 2 months ago

He can be two things. He's a lying piece of shit who is also in rapid cognitive decline.

[–] [email protected] 14 points 2 months ago

"There is a new focus here about his mental capability and fitness for office — certainly one that Democrats are pointing to."

New TO YOU maybe. Corpo newsie. FFS.

"certainly one that Democrats are pointing to" well that nullifies what you were trying to do so - well done. Your republiQan masters will be pleased.

A claim by Donald Trump on Fox News that the crowd who attended the debate between himself and Vice President Kamala Harris "went absolutely crazy" when he was fact-checked led to both amusement and new questions about his mental decline on MSNBC's "Morning Joe" on Thursday.

For the lazy.

Maybe people are saying he's the goat like he's got the mark of the beast?

Or that he screams a bunch and feints at the slightest opposition

[–] [email protected] 10 points 2 months ago

"Is the crowd here with you right now?"

[–] [email protected] 8 points 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago)

Oh... and the late, great Hannibal Lecter was there giving me a standing ovation...

[–] [email protected] 5 points 2 months ago

Raises questions? No, it answers questions that we already knew the answer to. He was, and still is, completely mentally unfit, and he's continually getting worse. What's left as a question?
