I don’t mean to spam but I had to share one of the comments:

Lubomyr Luciuk is an academic notorious for his vehement defence of Ukrainian Nazis and Nazi collaborators, he even spoke out against the outrage over Hunka (a Ukrainian Nazi collaborator) getting a standing ovation in parliament. It’s no surprise that he’s in the comments running defence for these monsters but it is also so embarrassing. Apparently he’s also known as “Dr. No” due to his treatment of refugees, so there’s that.

I wouldn’t think it wrong to call him a Nazi sympathizer…

I wouldn't think it wrong to just call him a nazi

The type of fascist gaslighting the liberals fall victim to.

[–] [email protected] 8 points 1 week ago

"Victim" to is a word, tbh. Liberals don't fall for it, they conveniently and consciously sweep it under the rug (just like anything else inconvenient in their history or present).

It's no different from how they will always be the ones to (once again, knowingly) pass the baton over to fascism. That is, if they don't go mask-off and act openly as the fascists themselves.

Large numbers of soldiers from a Ukrainian Waffen SS division fled to Canada after the war.

Not just talking about regular German soldiers but waffen SS, Impossible for SS soldiers to not be war criminals. At least release the breakdown on what level of Nazi collaborator the "subjects" were. Unless of course they are embarassed by the results.

The main defence I see is that they were stuck between a rock and hard place so they went with the best option. Another argument is that those in the Waffen SS were just kids and didn’t know any better, plus they totally didn’t commit any war crimes! The main idea that’s pushed is that the Soviets were worse than the Nazis, which isn’t true but people here are more than happy to believe it.

Canadian political establishment is immune to shame or embarrassment.

They know just how bad this information is so thats why they don’t want it to be made public. Hopefully it does come out so the illusion finally shatters.

The trick that the Pax Americana could always use is diversion to trivial debates that are irrelevant to the important topics and to the glorification of wars and nationalism in children's cartoon shows that cause psychological avoidance to dark history of their country.

I'm guessing members of the establishment, like Freeland, are direct descendants of these nazis and hence why they don't want this information to be public.

These past two years have taught me to not understimate their ability to whitewash nazis and their constituents' to just take it in stead.

I saw that both Moss Robeson and Dr. Ivan Katchanovski shared this article on Twitter, and according to Dr. Katchanovski he was not sought out at all:

I was not consulted even though I am both scholar researching this issue & Ukrainian Canadian & had leading role in exposing SS Galicia veteran debacle in Canadian parliament.

Very disappointing but not surprising considering how he is treated alongside the topic itself. He’s one of maybe a few scholars in Canada willing to talk about the reality of this war, and thus considered a Russian agent. I get nervous citing his work in my papers because he is very disliked by authorities at my school.

They talked to the wrong people with regard to this situation. No consulting with victims or experts, just disgraceful…

Of course it would be. Chrystia Freeland's grandfather was absolutely not a nazi, and to claim otherwise is just Russian propaganda. This is a known fact, and that list would just confuse matters.

The Nazi Holocaust was inspired by the Indian Residential fake school Holocaust in the British diaspora from 1850s that secretly continued after 1997. Since the Pax Americana continued the fake school death camps even after they condemned the Nazi German for imitation of the crimes against humanity against white people, it is obviously that Canada harbors Nazi supporters in the government on the condition that the Nazi continued their savage parasitism on people of colors instead of the white parasites.
