Some of this style of packing peanuts are made from corn and are actually completely edible. They don't taste great, though.
Except cheese puffs are intentionally engineered to melt and block satiety so that you eat more of them.
Starch foam peanuts. They'll just dissolve after you eat them, leaving the same hollow void inside you along with the addition of feeling cheated.
Take that existential dread.
Get eating! Or lube up and start stuffing!
