Fandom containment is breaking. Beginning of a new trend in Ten Forward?
Mutating from going too fast is a better origin than an immortal mysterious child from a mysterious universe that forgot all their memories of said origin.
/c/TenFoward: Your home-away-from-home for all things Star Trek!
Re-route power to the shields, emit a tachyon pulse through the deflector, and post all the nonsense you want. Within reason of course.
~ 1. No bigotry. This is a Star Trek community. Remember that diversity and coexistence are Star Trek values. Any post/comments that are racist, anti-LGBT, or generally "othering" of a group will result in removal/ban.
~ 2. Keep it civil. Disagreements will happen both on lore and preferences. That's okay! Just don't let it make you forget that the person you are talking to is also a person.
~ 3. Use spoiler tags. This applies to any episodes that have dropped within 3 months prior of your posting. After that it's free game.
~ 4. Keep it Trek related. This one is kind of a gimme but keep as on topic as possible.
~ 5. Keep posts to a limit. We all love Star Trek stuff but 3-4 posts in an hour is plenty enough.
~ 6. Try to not repost. Mistakes happen, we get it! But try to not repost anything from within the past 1-2 months.
~ 7. No General AI Art. Posts of simple AI art do not 'inspire jamaharon'
~ **8. Political commentary is allowed, but please keep discussions civil. Read here for our community's expectations.
Fun will now commence.

Maybe he thought he was creating a blank slate for others to fill in, but wound up leaving us a with Swiss cheese plot.
Which is a shame because there was a crumb of goodness. The space cops plot with the future doctor trying her best to be retired was such a unique idea.
Unsurprisingly, the highest rated of that run.
New teeth. That’s weird.
Fun fact: Classic Who and Star Trek actually almost had a crossover in the 60s.
What did they do.
Oh, just the usual retcon of established lore that happens every decade or so. Only this round was very poorly written despite how much I enjoyed the portrayal of The Doctor by Jodie Whittaker.
Jody got done so dirty by the writers her entire run. 💀
That's been my problem with the new who, when it's good it's really good...but the bad is sooo frustratingly bad
i was so excited for a female Doctor and then half a season in forgot to check out the new episode and haven't watched since then :') the cinematography became fantastic! the plots though? i guess there was something about uhh, a dead grandfather's watch & demons that did nothing wrong and sci-fi amazon bomb robots? and didn't she do a very un-doctor thing and then detonated those robots without really checking if anybody was holding one somewhere? like i know the doctor is reckless sometimes even to the point of having an ego trip, but that's just fucking stupid and out of character
Scuse you that was the Cartmel Masterplan. Chibnall merely orchestrated the kazoos
