And a centerback, of course.
So... Looks like Solanke is heading to the spuds. Poor guy must be desperate or delusional! Good player, but he won't be a miracle cure for that team.
Apparently now Bournemouth now have lots of cash and a need for a striker, and they want to spend the money on our Eddie.
That would be amazing.
What the fuck, they've given Bournemouth 65M?! Surely they can splash 40 of that on Edward.
Is Solanke really worth that much???
Nope.
Tottenham aspire to be the new United with their toilet bowl money, clearly.
not only did they buy him they've already tarnished him by announcing him with an AI video apparently.
Trust the spuds to do things in a half-arsed way using a ill-conceived flash in-the-pan approach.
why can't other clubs actually do something to stop City from winning everything.
Honestly, most of the clubs that are actually in a position to challenge them just want to become them. Aston Villa, Chelsea, and United are all trying to line themselves up as the next successor, with varying amounts of success. They don't want to change the rules (multi-club regulations, for example) because they'd benefit from them.
The other clubs aren't affected by it and couldn't care less who wins the thing.
I feel like we're the only club at this point who isn't actively abusing the multi-club thing (besides with that Colorado club but it's not like we benefit from it other than maybe the money from the likes of Trusty)
The worst part is, it seems like that's the way the wind is blowing for all of us. My God, I hope Chelsea sign every 18 year old to 6 year contracts and go into administration when they bust.
It's a stain on the sport.
So yesterday I was seeing a lot of chatter that Merino had been done for 17M. Today I'm seeing a lot of skepticism that the deal will even go through. Sounds like Sociedad are holding out for more money, which I can't blame them for.
