Honestly, most of the clubs that are actually in a position to challenge them just want to become them. Aston Villa, Chelsea, and United are all trying to line themselves up as the next successor, with varying amounts of success. They don't want to change the rules (multi-club regulations, for example) because they'd benefit from them.
The other clubs aren't affected by it and couldn't care less who wins the thing.
I feel like we're the only club at this point who isn't actively abusing the multi-club thing (besides with that Colorado club but it's not like we benefit from it other than maybe the money from the likes of Trusty)
The worst part is, it seems like that's the way the wind is blowing for all of us. My God, I hope Chelsea sign every 18 year old to 6 year contracts and go into administration when they bust.
It's a stain on the sport.
