270 days for 1300 people. This should be enough to properly prepare and it’s the same work and effort both ways, the only difference is the audience. If I prepared and killed, that’s a lot more people to sing my praises and start my comedy career.
Would You Rather
WouldYouRather or "Would you rather" (abbreviated as WYR) is a place to have a conversation that poses a dilemma in the form of a question beginning with "would you rather".
The OP asks a question or options that are either similarly good or similarly bad and people in the comments discuss how they would answer.
Examples:
- WYR have the power of flight or the power of invisibility?
- WYR fight 1 horse sized duck, or 100 duck sized horses?
- WYR find true love or be a millionaire?
I would rather make out with a shotgun than choose either of these.
Team shotgun, high five
I think having a guaranteed audience of 1,300 people and 9 months to prepare could set you up for a lot of good stuff if you have even a modicum of develop-able talent. That's a hell of an opportunity.
30 days for 300 people. I usually go with the option to rip the bandaid off and just get it done. And hypothetically, if the opportunity to perform in front of 1,300 people was still available after the 30 days, now I have 10 minutes of material I dialed in that could be used.
Do you get any warm-up acts?
For the sake of the WYR, I would say no. In reality, you would have at least one.
I mean would I get more money doing the 1300? Cause then that one
I can go on in front of any number as soon as I’m dressed in people clothes and out of bed.
Then again, this is what I do for a living.
