Putting aside Seagal's actual shitty behavior, it's just funny to me the double standard on display. A dozen celebrities visit Ukraine and shake hands with Zelensky and none of these idiots bat an eye, but suddenly when someone shows up for Russia he's a traitor.
Because America is involved in the war I guess?
Pushing Sandy Hook conspiracy theories? Nah. Rape allegations? Nah. Appearing on Russian media? REAL SHIT!
It's not even the first time. There was this TV program we had, "Paris Hilton Projector" (the name was apparently a bit of an obscure pun). Seagal appeared as a guest. So did Hugh Jackman and other western celebs. Liberal darling Stephen Colbert went on Russian federal tv for crying out loud! But now it's suddenly a problem.
