It's funny but I don't think I ever saw any memes making fun of him per se, just using his appearance to sell whatever the meme was saying. Even before we collectively found out who he actually was. It's like people just read him as a good fella.

Regenerative agriculture is something I feel really strongly about, and that's why I use no-till methods for my cannabis and vegetables. I had no idea who this guy was, but wow! What an inspiration!

My grandfather was heavily involved in soils science and evangelising about protecting good topsoil.
