This is typical western media. It is all like this.

Ukraine was always going to get destroyed under Biden. By the time he was elected there was no possible off ramp, and the ultra nationalists just would not stop shelling the separatist republics.

Trying to sanction the entire Russian economy in 2022 , thereby undoing the Sino-Soviet split . putting Russia, China and Iran into an alliance based on shared grievances , and creating a new center of power and finance in the world for the first time since 1991? That was entirely an own goal on the part of the west.

Biden presidency has inadvertently freed the world from the hegemony.

He should run on that haha

Imagine unironically believing in George W. Bush's Axis of Evil 20 years later.

[-] [email protected] 20 points 1 year ago

There's an Axis of Evil, all right- AmeriKKKa (the empire of genocide and eternal war), the rest of the (all avidly genocidal) 5 Eyes, the EU/NATO white supremacist stooges, and Pissrael.

has emboldened the axis of evil in its quest to destroy the free world

Quite the opposite, it is the free world led by Russia and China that is destroying the Anglo-European axis of evil, to great delight from the global majority.

Remember: always projection

Javier Milei, Argentina’s superb president, has quit China’s orbit, dealing a blow to Beijing’s Belt and Road initiative. Russia is in terminal decline, and has suffered a stupendous economic and human hit from its despicable invasion of Ukraine.

Ye gods, each sentence is worse than the previous. It's a constant cascade of stupid.

that was hands down the most hilarious bit of the whole thing

And I went from being genuinely concerned that it may drag down BRICS to glad it didn't join. The author is in an alternate universe.

While having a point, what an incredibly condescending tone the article has.

After reading, this is a terrible article written by a terrible, contemptuous human being.

[-] [email protected] 18 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago)

Oh god, my eyes. That article is more pretentious than any human being can ever imagine.
EDIT: in other side of the equation, is fun to see this guys crying like that 😂

It reads like satire generated by a chatbot trained on c/ShitReactionariesSay

Can't believe this clown is real

[-] [email protected] 10 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago)

Indeed! As the reality of their crumbling hegemonic project starts to set in, these people are becoming increasingly unhinged in their desperate attempts to maintain their narrative. The coming months promise to be filled with increasingly shrill rhetoric and unprecedented levels of cognitive dissonance. Get ready for a wild ride as the illusion of their dominance is shattered!

All articles will require a short submission statement of 3-5 sentences.

Use the article title as the submission title. Do not editorialize the title or add your own commentary to the article title.

In this community we encourage long, in-depth submissions. Submissions should not be news articles that merely provide quick updates on current events; instead they should include background information and an explanation as to why the events they describe are occurring.

Submissions should not be about an individual country's domestic policies. Instead, they should be about relationships between different countries and/or relevant international organizations. Things like breakaway politics are permitted in this subreddit, as they are relevant to and could affect the geopolitical system.

Submissions are strongly encouraged to come from reputable sources. When posting from a lesser known source, please check whether the authors have some sort of qualification demonstrating they are knowledgeable of the subjects they discuss.
