It's a beautiful, frustrating, fun discovery. I used to work night shift and played with long exposure stuff a lot on my nights off

just my phone camera actually! its a galaxy s22. im most certainly not a photographer so i just kinda set my phone down on the roof and it looked pretty.

It's wild how all these stars are out there, just existing, vibing, doing their thing regardless of what we do or think about them. How far away from the city / other sources of light pollution were you when you took this photo?

on top of a tall buildings roof, so probs about 40~ feet above the streetlights.

there arent a ton of lights in my city that are high up, so on top of a tall roof is almost pitch black unless you're looking down at the street.
