I’m just looking forward to JerryRigEverything snapping this in half like a cracker and then the whole internet exploding in anger over his video.

Yawn. Shrug. Of course they’ll do some over dramatic destructive testing proving nothing.

If they’re really serious they’ll crush it in a hydraulic press 🤣

Oh hi there!

MacRumors really embarrassed itself by pretending that bendgate was already happening, before the iPad had even begun shipping. Disappointing how far that site has fallen.

My 2022 12.9 pro model just bent, and I totally blamed myself. I bent it back-mostly-but it still bugs the shit out of me given how obscenely expensive it was, and that maybe it wasn't my fault.

Devices should never accidentally bend. Unless you drove over it with a car, chances are it wasn't your fault.

Welp. Just took my bent air (both my iPads bent) to the Apple Store. $49 to replace the bent device. Not bad all in all I guess, but when I tried to explain this was a known issue, and that I could not possibly physically have done this, I was stonewalled.
