at this point i am convinced that biden is purposefully trying to lose. he could just not have done a genocide and would have been probably successful in manipulating some people into voting for him, but i suppose he just couldnt resist the bloodlust.

i hope he eats shit and dies.

I think some words are missing from that headline. It doesn't make sense

It does make sense, it just has slightly abbreviated grammar - in the traditional style of a newspaper headline.

While "Biden is going to lose the election" is "proper" grammar, abbreviating it to "Biden to lose election" is also completely valid, within certain contexts (such as a headline).

Is it saying we won't be able to pretend democracy is at stake?
Or we won't be able to pretend the US is a democracy?
Or we won't be able to pretend the US, is a democracy at stake?

Oh! Is it the spaceing that hanging me up? I'm seeing "U.S. A Democracy". Should it be U.S.A. Democracy?

Pretty clear that it's "Biden warns Americans that their ability to even pretend that the US is a democracy is at stake" As in, the US is not a democracy, but we pretend it is, but Biden is warning us that our ability to do so is at stake, because it's going to get so much worse that we won't even be able to bury our heads in the sand anymore.

That makes sense.
However it was recently pointed out to me that when you have to explain how obvious (or clear) something is, it really isn't.

No, or does make sense as a headline (using headline rules). Though it took me 2 or 3 goes to get it. It was a rather awkward one.

Biden Warns Americans that [the] Ability [for people] To Even Pretend [that the] US [is] A Democracy [is] At Stake

And contextually, we can also add [if Donald Trump Wins the Election] to the end.
