Well I sent an application to the psl

I'm getting pretty uneasy vibes now
You'll be fine. I get the same vibes when I fill in one of those online restaurant booking forms and have to wait for confirmation. Will they? Won't they? Have I done the right thing? It's similar with sending emails.

I sent PSL an application like 15 years ago and didn't hear from them for like 6 months so I emailed them about it to follow up and they told me they'd get back to me if there was something they thought I could participate in.
Never heard back again. 
Then I just got involved in some other stuff.
There's probably a better chance for a response after 15 years now that PSL has grown immensely.

They'll let you know if there's any branch or pre-branch near you. If not, you'll probably be considered to help start one. You'll likely be invited to attend events, and it will take some time after you demonstrate your commitment before you are invited to be a member. You will be a candidate member and will have to take some classes before you are offered full membership.
